How the Verbal Judo Institute works nationally and internationally for training.

The Verbal Judo Institute, Inc., has three main offices and several satellites. The Corporate Headquarters in located in Auburn, NY with Dr. George J. Thompson, the President and Founder. The Vice President, Lee Fjelstad maintains an office for corporate and police training in Sarasota, FL, and Michael Manley as the Vice President of Operations has the third office in Staten Island, NY. When the Institute was founded it was only Dr. Thompson conducting the training. Within a few short years his commitments to larger police organizations began to take much of his time and he asked if I would consider working with him upon leaving my position with the Federal Government. I accepted and began training organizations using the Verbal Judo material under agreement from Dr. Thompson to travel and train under my own direction. Later, we began to add staff members under the same style of agreement and criteria, in essence creating a series of small satellites governed by the headquarters where we both were living in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Each instructor is in effect an independent contractor with affiliation to the Institute and their income is derived directly from their training schedules and not a salary. Many have individual phone numbers and address but you can also contact them through us on the three main web sites. When you hear about Verbal Judo and inquire about training please let us know where, or from whom, you first heard of us as this helps us direct the call or email to the correct trainer thereby guarenteeing them the work. If you want another speaker, for whatever reason, we will not pry but offer you the most suitable substitute available. If you have an issue with one of our people please let us know as we all try to learn and improve with each class. If your are trying to save monies simply by choosing the closest trainer to your location you may find that we can be accomodating with some costs and you will still get the best trainer possible for your group. The instructors listed have experience in training in that arena but all are professional and will do well for you.

When you fill our the client contact sheet you may also select a particular speaker before emailing us for additional information or request for call back .You are always welcome to call us and ask questions regarding a particular speaker, including myself, Dr. Thompson, or Mike Manley. If we or your speaker of choice are unavailable on the date you have picked for your training we will help guide you to the most appropriate trainer for your group, organization, or department. This web page offers a photograph of each trainer and their biography. Our commitment to you the client is always present in our goals as a company.
